I stayed here for two nights. The rooms are nice, especially with a view of the river. The location is convenient for exploring Seaside, walking to the beach, or driving to Cannon Beach. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially since we discovered the handle on the toilet was broken when we walked in. They fixed it right away, thank goodness!

A quaint little Inn with half the rooms facing the river. It's fun to sit around one of the 2 fire pits and watch the little peddle boats go up and down. This Inn is dog friendly and even has a dog kit in your room with dog towels and water bowl, plus a few baggies of treats! How nice! Then as moved further into our room we saw a little fork looking thing sticking out of a bag. It was a marshmallow stick to make your own smores at the fire pit! How fun is that! Plus you can't beet a pool and hot tub also! This Inn is located approximately 4 blocks (or less) from all of the shops , so nice easy! The best best part was they were cheaper than Motel 6 at the edge of town by $79 before tax! I will definitely be staying here again!

Friendly staff they let us check in early for not extra charge, rooms were very clean, staff was knowledgeable about area and what to do, free breakfast was good too, the game room was fun and the pool and jacuzzi was clean and kids enjoyed it. There was a fire pit with a little playground outside next to the river it was really nice. It was only about an 8 minute walk to the ocean from this hotel so it was very close I recommend this place 100%.

For a cheap hotel this place is great. I ended up needing a lot of help (totally my fault) and the staff was so nice and helpful. Rooms are clean. Very much recommend.

Breakfast ok. Very good bathroom and bed. They don't have streaming on TV. Only the cable. It's a few blocks from the beach. As I like to walk, for me it was ok. Very well-mannered receptionists. Out of season the price was not so cheap for what they offered since I was there at the end of October 2025. That's it.

Very clean, comfortable and friendly service! Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, they offered decent options including yogurts, avocado spread, bagels & toast, biscuits & sausage gravy and you can make your own waffles. They offer 2 fire pits that they turn on every night at 6pm. The location is very central, we were able to walk to the water and then head out for dinner! Definitely would recommend this place & would come back. Next time, I’d like the river view, however we did get a nice sunrise on the parking lot side!

The room was awesome the might shift people was great with good service. We was charged a $50 deposit we left the room in excellent shade with weave and cleaned up after ourselves so the room there was nothing for them to do but yet it's been 15 days now and I still have not received my $50 deposit back and it says it's not pending anymore it says that they took the deposit without even telling us anything very disturbing and disappointing. Other than that not sure why they cut the power off 5 min before check out but hey ok. Would we go back no because of our deposit being taken without cause.

We stayed here for our one year anniversary. Overall our experience was good. We did have a sewage back up in our room from the high tide and had to move rooms around 11pm. We were comped that night by the hotel manager who was very apologetic and accommodating. The facilities are kinda run down and the hotel is very old and outdated. But the rooms are still clean and a nice bed is what really makes or breaks my experience. Their beds still felt very clean and comfy. I Loved the balcony views of the dock, watching the large ships pass by was a nice perk. I think with everything that happened, most would leave with a bad taste in their mouth. But the maintenance guy that helped with the issue was so nice and charismatic that it really changed our mood about the situation. The lady who put breakfast out every morning was so delightful and the manager and front desk personnel were really great. I always love a hotel that will still put out a free breakfast, part of the reason we stayed here. I understand things happen, and it wasn’t our luck this weekend. But I would stay again!

Was skeptical about this hotel at first but it was really nice and it was a great value! There was a cute river out back (hence the name) We booked through airbnb. Loved that they were pet friendly, we had to pay $25/night for a pet fee so not too bad. Location was great for visiting the canon beach area. Also loved that they provided several makeup remover wipes 👌. Thanks Jessica (i think that was our housekeepers name).
